Dream team in place

Nicoustic was incorporated in June 2022 and now we have a complete management team in place in our new office in Trondheim. It is a fight to recruit the best people in Norway at the moment. Considering this we are very proud to have attracted professionals with such a track record and wealth of experience!

Management Team

Jan Biti – CEO

Jan is a serial entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience with developing, financing, and leading technology companies. He has played key roles in founding of many successful companies coming from high-tech environments such as NTNU, SINTEF, Statoil and Telenor.

Jarle Haugness – COO

Jarle has been working offshore since 1989. His first role was electrician and instrument technician and later on – automation engineer. For the last 12 years he has been working as a project manager for large instrument and automation projects. Jarle is a Prince2 Certified Project Manager.

Uwe Lieske – VP Technology

Uwe is an expert in condition monitoring hardware and software. For the last 15 years he has been working with condition monitoring R&D at Fraunhofer IKTS in Germany. He has been closely following R&D related to the Nicoustic technology for a number of years. Uwe took the step of moving from Dresden to Trondheim to become part of Nicoustic management team.

Dmitri Gorski – VP Sales & Marketing

Dmitri has spent the last 15 years working offshore, mostly for Equinor, and managing technology development in start-up and scale-up companies. He has a PhD in process technology, an MBA in technology management, Six Sigma Black Belt and wide international experience within projects, mainly from oil & gas but also from biomaterials processing.

Advisory Board

Bjørn-Atle Øverland (Equinor)

Bjørn Atle is currently employed by Equinor and has been working in the offshore industry since 1992. He has broad experience in offshore and onshore instrument and automation from such operator companies as Total and Equinor. He also has a background as an entrepreneur, having co-founded and built a company that produces analyzers for environmental monitoring where he spent ~12 years of his career. He holds a bachelor in automation engineering and a Master in physics.

Sergio Zubelli (Devinco)

Sergio is Production Manager with Devinco, a company with a range of unique digital tools and supporting hardware for the crafts industry. Devinco designs, manufactures and assembles its products in Trondheim. Sergio has 25+ years of international oil and gas experience, mainly in well testing. He has been leading operations, business development in several major O&G service companies. where he also has held executive management positions.
